Shanghai-based InnoStar Semiconductor, established in 2019, develops RRAM memory chips.

InnoStar uses a 28-nm process and is said to be China's first RRAM developer. In 2024, ByteDance (TikTok) acquired a 9.5% stake in InnoStar, aiming to embed its memory technology in its future VR headsets, developed by the company's Pico subsidiary.
